Posting an Event

  1. Register or login: You must have a Bhubble.com user account to post an event. Create one here by clicking "sign up now" or login with your existing account. If you are already logged in, you will not see this page.
  2. Title and Permissions: Create a relevant and brief title for your event and enter it here. If you are submitting an event to a website other than Bhubble.com or if you have a local city events website, you will see an option to include your event in the respective calendar. The administrator will receive notification of your requested event and choose to allow or deny it.
  3. Date and Time Info: Now you have several options for entering the date(s) of your event: set date, weekly event, or consecutive days. You may use any combination of these methods.

    1. Set date: Use this if your event is one day, or multiple days that are unrelated (not consecutive or weekly). You may enter different times of day for each date you enter.
    2. Weekly event: If you have an event on a specific day of the week (or more), use the weekly event. The time of day must be the same for each week and weekday you enter. If you have an event that runs Sundays at 10am and Tuesdays at 7pm, it might be best to enter two separate events.
    3. Consecutive days: If you have an event that is X days long and the same time each day, use consecutive days.
note: You may use more than one method for your event, for example, perhaps you have a yoga class every Monday morning, but you also have random Saturday classes, you would use weekly and set dates to cover both dates.
  4. Event Info: This is where you enter more descriptive text about your event. There are some fields to guide you as to common things people need to know about an event. The information in the top 4 fields will show on printed calendars, but the description does not.
  5. Tags and location: All posts are associated with tags or keywords, for example if you are posting a yoga class ensure you type "yoga" into the tags. Multiple tags must be separated by a comma, for example type: [ yoga, vinyasa ] and you will be giving your post the two tags that are relevant to the event. Every post on the Bhubble network is also required to be associated with a town, start typing in the town that the event is taking place in and a list will pop up, make sure you choose the town from this list. It is also highly recommended that you enter the venue that your event is being held at so that people know where to go. .
  6. Preview and Submit: Here you see a preview of what your event will look like and you can choose to attach an image to your event if you like. Once you hit submit, your event is live on Bhubble.com and in the queue for any other sites you chose in step #2.
  7. And you're done! You can edit or delete your event by going to the full posting of the event and choosing 'edit' near the top of the page.
