Rossland Radio had recieved a grant from Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance (CKCA) on behalf of the Kootenay Basin Trust (KBT) for a live local music series.
The first band featured will be the White Crows of the New Apostolic Church at the Red Room from 8pm.
Entry is free, drink specials will be available.

The White Crows of The New Apostolic Church have been together for a couple of years now and are constantly tightening up their blend of mountain folk and roots rock. Playing all original tunes flavored with skiing and climbing references, this five piece definitely represents the Kootenays well. They've recently played the Blizzard Music Festival, appeared on another local media program 'Made In The Kootenays' http://www.kbsradio.ca/shows/861336 and are starting work on a five song EP that should be coming out by the end of the winter.
