Rossland District Search and Rescue and BC Adventure Smart will be supporting the Canadian Avalanche Association's Avalanche Awareness Day on Saturday, Jan. 13. They will be providing introductory exposure to rudimentary avalanche searching skills, games, guest speakers and demonstrations.
Pre-registration not required, just show up
No age limit or skill restrictions, just come with an open mind!
Participants do not need ski gear as all training will be happening near the base
