This storytelling workshop deals with filling the stage with action, creating interesting characters and making the events and characters distinct. This is an active, on your feet experience that leads the participants through different scenarios and storytelling games.
The workshop deals with:
Choosing material and getting started with action
Physicalizing the character
Seamlessly changing from one character to another
Sharing with the audience using dialogue and narration
Jeff Leard is a master at creating the one person storytelling production with several years of solo Fringe Festival productions under his belt. Jeff will also share his experience on the North American Fringe circuit from how to get started to what to expect as a performer travels from Festival to Festival.
